Bio

Hello, my name is Alejandro Santiago.

I am a certified Mindfulness Life Coach. I also hold certifications in Kundalini Yoga and in Compassionate Inquiry®. I help people overcome the roadblocks in their heads so they can take action to create the life they want.

I first came into contact with the benefits of mindfulness and breathwork when I was a student at Parsons School of Design in New York City almost two decades ago. I had been living with ADHD all my life and the stress of going to college in NYC was heightening my anxiety. I stepped into a Naam Yoga class taught by Dr. Joseph Michael Levry and it sent me on a transformative path towards achieving greater equanimity, mental clarity, and emotional presence. Since then, I have gone on to build a deep knowledge of breathwork and meditation through my study and practice of Kundalini Yoga, an ancient form of yoga that involves movement, breathing techniques, mindfulness, and a mantra.

I am also certified in Compassionate Inquiry®, a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté that reveals what lies beneath the appearance we present to the world. Through this approach, an individual can recognize the unconscious dynamics that run their lives and how to liberate themselves from them.

I am passionate about teaching and coaching. I left a career in a tech startup to devote myself fully to helping people achieve their highest potential through mindfulness. I work one-on-one with individuals and I work with large groups.

If you are looking for techniques to improve your mental focus, find emotional balance, increase your personal power, and live with greater purpose, I can help.
